Preference Setup

Before you begin using the backup, restore, or sync features, set up the addon preferences.

1. Set Directory Paths

• Backup Directory: Where your backups will be stored.

• Restore Directory: The source folder from which to restore data.

You can also enable Backup and Restore Directory Editing from the popup if needed.

2. Configure Keymap for Popup Access

• Assign a shortcut to open the Sync Blender Popup quickly.

• Default: Ctrl + Alt + S (customizable)

Once this is set, you can access the main popup anytime via the shortcut or by going to:

File → Sync Blender
